In Norwood, at the Norwood Memorial Airport, there is a plaque embedded in a stone that is by a flagpole.

The bronze plaque is near ground level, by a flagpole. The inscription simply states that the memorial is dedicated to all veterans and that it was placed by the town of Norwood in 2003.

People watching planes arriving and departing from the grassy area can see this plaque (or even stumble on it - literally).

To get to the memorial, from U.S. Route 1, exit onto the Rotary for Nahanton Street/Neponset Street, then exit onto Neponset Street heading toward Canton. Look for Access Road - there is also a sign for the airport. Travel onto Access Road for about a half mile to the airport on the right. Park in the parking lot and head left of the main building to the grassy area overlooking the runways. The plaque will be on the left, about 15 ft north of a white flagpole.
