This bridge is set over a river, (possibly called Headon Brook) the bridge carries traffic from the Lee Moor area to Ivybridge, many lorries travel this route due to the nearby clayworks.
The bridge has an inscription:
“This bridge erected at the cost of William Mackworth Praed Esquire
was accepted by Devon County Council”
The bottom of the plaque is buried in tarmac.
