The piece is of a full-length, standing figure of a Native American male. He's wearing leggings with a loincloth, boots, cape, a belt slung over his shoulder and chest. Two feathers in his hair. He's holding a bow, that's rests against his body. The whole piece is on a pedestal in the middle of a small park.

The piece replaces an earlier piece of a similar Native American. That piece was scrapped during WWII.
