Jewish Hospital Medical Center South (JHMCS) is an outpatient and emergency care facility designed to deliver health care and medical services with the consumer in mind. With a 49,000-square-foot medical center and a 24,000-square-foot medical office building, JHMCS offers a wide range of outpatient services in a convenient and comfortable setting. Serving Bullitt County and surrounding areas, JHMCS provides access to a wide range of specialists and services with state-of-the-art equipment.
At JHMCS and its Medical Office Building you will find a number of specialists including Cardiologists, Colorectal Surgeons, Ear Nose & Throat physicians, Gastroenterologists, General Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, OB/GYNs, Orthopaedists, Primary Care physicians, Podiatrists, Pulmonologists and Urologists. Providing Emergency services close to home, the JHMCS Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week by board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians.
The facility was constructed with the environment in mind. Construction included practicing many environmental initiatives including water conservation, ozone protection, energy saving strategies, air quality control during and after construction, construction waste management and use of recycled materials. JHMCS is conveniently located just off the Brooks Road Exit of Interstate 65 and is the newest addition to Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare.
