Near the Grand Palace, in the tourist area of Bangkok, is a small museum dedicated to the memory of the Thai King Vajiravudh (Rama Vi: 1910–25). Outside the museum entrance is a tower, with a four sided clock atop. The clock is only visible for a short distance along the street as it is obscured by nearby trees. I could not find an information plaque or any information about the clock. This I named it after the museum, to which it seems to be attached. Attractive in design, but, regrettably, the clock was not functioning when I visited. There is an air of abandonment about the tower.
