MONUMENTO EM HOMENAGEM AO COMBATENTE. INAUGURADO POR SUA EXCELLÊNCIA O PRESIDENTE DA REPÚBLICA GENERAL CARMONA"
Translation:
Monument to honour the fighter.Inaugurated by His Excellency the president of the republic General Carmona.
On the pennacle there is another inscription, in Latin: "FILIIS PRO PATRIA CAESIS EBORA" which means something like 'suns of Évora who died for their fatherland.
