This walkway was opened December 2009. It takes almost an hour to walk one way and consists of 391 steps on a well graded wide path. Panoramic views of Great Barrier, Little Barrier, Cuvier, Square Top & Channel Islands can be seen as you walk along the ridge line. The main shipping route passes through the Colville Channel & past the Colville Reef for cruise liners & container vessels. This walkway also gives access to fishing, diving & swimming spots.
