"I'm looking for someone with information about the Mizpah Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Jackson Co., GA. I can find Mizpah church with cemetery on road between Clarksboro and Center, but cannot find an address or contact for it.

I'm the Registrar for Cape Sebastian Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, in Pistol River, OR. I'm trying to help a lady with her application. One of her ancestors was buried there, and we'd like to know if there is a register of graves, or perhaps someone who knows of her grave and can take a picture for us, or a rubbing or ??? The ancestor was Frances Americus Jennings Matthews. She died 1909, born 1821. At the time of death she is believed to have been living with her daughter by her second marriage, Frances Iverson.

Alternatively, does anyone know if there were newspapers from the 1909 era that might be available, so that we might try to find an obituary.
