This mural is located with three murals on the side of an restaurant, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company which is just east of the Colorado Convention Center. This was the first mural that caught my eye since it is the most colorful and American tend to notice our flag. Since all three of these murals are related to Colorado, I could not figure out why Teddy Roosevelt. Research found that T. Roosevelt made Mesa Verde a National Park in 1906.
