This Nuclear Power Plant is on US Hwy 75, 3 miles southeast of Blair, Nebraska. The coordinates are for an Historical Marker Pull-Off on the main road to the plant.

Google Earth puts the Plant coordinates at N 41° 31.220 W 096° 04.640 which is about 1/2 mile north of the posted coordinates.
The Plant is owned and operated by the Omaha Public Power District. The original license was to expire in 2014 but in 2003, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved a 20-year license extension until 2033.

We didn't know this Nuclear Power Plant existed until we saw the Evacuation Map in a motel room in Missouri Valley, Iowa about 8 miles away.
