This Family cemetery of the Nicholson Freeman families was established in the late 1800's. Many interred here were among the pioneers whom helped developed this community and state. Among those interred here are Dr. Malcom Nicholson who was one of the comissionners who chose Quincy as the county seat of Florida. In addition to being a well known phyican he was on the selection comittee that selected the site for the Capitol in Tallahassee.
