This is a fun sculpture for Downtown OKC: it's a gigantic green exclamation point located on the sidewalk in front of The Brand Building. The point is about 3 feet in diameter, and the top part is about 20 feet tall, slightly tilted to the south. It's hard to miss it! This is one of many interesting sculptures and fountains in the area, many on the Smithsonian list.

From the Smithsonian Art Inventory database:

Dimensions:
Approx. 20 x 4 x 4 ft.

Description:
A colossal-sized exclamation point, curved at the top and painted teal green, stands on the sidewalk in front of the Chamber of Commerce. It appears to be supported by a metal beam in the sidewalk.

Remarks:
Commissioned by the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce for their new building. The design was inspired by the title of the musical "Oklahoma!" which ends with an exclamation point. "The Point," as the sculpture is locally known, is also intended to convey the vibrancy of Oklahoma City. It is illuminated by footlights on each side. The design also appears in the Chamber's newsletter banner. IAS files include a statement and a drawing from the architects.
