Quarry Bank Mill is a National Trust property and has been restored as a working cotton mill with water wheel and country walks in the adjoining woods. It is only a mile or so from Manchester International Airport (as the jumbo flies)


Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good

Is this post box still in use?: Yes 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 0.00 am ??? on Saturday

Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: Yes with crown

Any other embossed lettering, such as manufacturer?: Post Office on the hood

Manufacturer Inscription: WT Allen & Co, London (1881-1901)
