The Keirunga Park Railway run by the Havelock North Live Steamers and has been running it's 846 metre long track since 1992.The track is located in Keirunga Park in Havelock North and runs through three tunnels, over four viaducts and through many cuttings. The track has three gauges being 3 1/2, 5, 7 & 1/4 inch gauges.
Keirunga Park was opened in 1992 after 5 years and 26,000 man hours of volunteer work.
The track is open to the public on the first and third Sundays of the month, from 11 am to 4 pm.
Gauge of railway: 3.5", 5" and 7.25" gauges.
