This is really an L & N Caboose that has been painted to resemble a Norfolk & Western Caboose. It is located at the Depot Lodge in rural Paint Bank, Virginia. The Lodge was built in 1909 when Paint Bank was the final stop of the Potts Valley Branch line of the Norfolk & Western Railway. Today, the caboose has bee renovated to serve as a one room bedroom for the lodge guests.
