Painted with white-washed walls with blue around the windows and doors the house is an attractive property along this road. This house is one of the original village abodes and is beside Howard's House.

The date on the building is 1762 with John Howard's initials on the plaque. It was restored in 1928 by Samuel Whitbread.

There is an attractive green, other cottages and the church nearby.
