The marker reads Rotary Commemoration: America's Bicentennial 1776-1976 Time Capsule. Beneath the stone lies the time capsule to be opened on the country's tricentennial in the year 2076. Placed by the Rotary Club of Marlton on July 4, 1976. The capsule lies next to the sidewalk. If you are walking into the post office and have parked on the left side in the lot, as you walk to the entarnce, you cannot help to notice this bicentennial tribute.
