With the invention and evolvement of the internet, takeout menus and websites which host the are becoming more popular. This locally famous diner has its menu now on the internet one of two advancements they have made or has been made for them in recent years. The other innovation is the electronic message board recently installed. Although they so offer take out (but no delivery) and seem to do a nice business with it, I have only ever eaten in. The on-line menu, for me, takes the mystery out of what I will order before I even get there.
This diner has been a mainstay for Cherry Hill residents for as long as I have lived here (1967). The food is always good and the service is always quick and competent. There are two other famous diners in Cherry Hill. The first was the Diamond Diner, but it closed down recently and has been demolished. The other diner, and just as famous, is Olga's Diner.
can recall eating at Ponzio's when my grandfather was still alive in the early 70s. I remember often seeing the late Flyer's radio announcer, Gene Hart eating here. Boy, he was the best. Over the years, I have met many celebrities, friends and family here, either by chance or appointment.
