This is one of the off-leash areas we can run our dogs in Lethbridge. On the west side the Oldman River flows, where in the summer your dogs can get wet. To the north and east there are steep hillsides with coulees to explore. The main area has a oval trail that is mowed, this area is flat and you can push strollers and small children can enjoy walking. For people who want rolling landscape go to the north end where the trail climbs up and down, the elevation change there is easy enough even for younger children to handle but pushing a stroller there would be difficult as the trail narrows. I like this area because it is close to my house and when it is dry we can walk down to it. Wouldn't do this area when wet as even though there is grass it can turn very muddy. There is quite a bit of use of the area but never had any problems with others.
