The Wild Horse Wind Facility is located on the open ridge tops surrounding Whiskey Dick Mountain between the towns of Vantage and Kittitas, Washington. The wind farm is owned and operated by Puget Sound Energy (PSE). From April 1st to November 30th PSE operates this visitor center (9:00 am to 5:30 pm). The visitor center has displays on renewable energy and local archaeology and geology.
In addition to the view of the large wind turbines of the wind farm, there is a replica of a typical wind mill used by homesteaders in the local area. "It's an Aermotor 702" according to montythemule.
