When I was chasing down Zippy sites, I located the
Friendly Hills Bowl and drove there. The outdoor sign was clearly pictured in the Zippy strip, but the last picture didn't match up with anything at this site. Then I realized that I had seen the
Googie architecture in the last pane at the previous Zippy bowling alley that I'd just been to. The last pane actually pictures the front of
La Habra Bowl.
