The town of Bunbury (pop. ~60,000) is the 3rd largest town in the state of Western Australia, it lies ~200kms south of Perth, is situated on the coast, and supports the south west agricultural regions.
The tourist Centre is located near the centre of the town, close to shops, restaurants, and several of the tourist spots. The Centre is also the major bus depot (local and state wide bus services) of the town, and is the drop off/pick up point for the Bunbury train station shuttle (the Centre building was the train station for Bunbury prior to 1985). The staff in the Centre are helpful and will provide maps and advice to tourists. There is also a cafe, outside seating/park, and toilets at the Centre.
