The B.O.P.E Building (or Elks’ Temple) is located at the NE corner of the intersection of Main and 5th Streets. The building was built in 1923 by the local Elks chapter for $56,000. McWilliams & Ross of Yakima, Washington were the contractors. The marble cornerstone was donated by the Puget Sound Marble Company and was placed in June 1923.
