The Illiopolis Masonic Lodge No. 521. A. F. and A. M. was or­ganized in 1867.
The original lodge is no longer in use. In fact we could not find it while visiting this town. What we did find was cinder block building that at one time was used as the 512 A.F. & A. M. It had a cornerstone dated 1958. This building is no longer in use as well.
Other: I'm not sure if this Lodge is active anymore.
