The capsule is in the form of the American Revolution Bicentennial logo. This stand on a brick paving on the grass next to the city hall building. The plaque reads:
"1776-1976. Here in lies memorabilia of South San Francisco American Revolution Bicentennial observance committee. Contents of the capsule to be removed on July 4th of the tricentennial year 2076.
