The stone font is a basic design and has an ornate wooden cover held suspended over it by a stand. Pevsner reports that originally the font had twelve shafts and dates from the early 14th century. Since then it has been damaged and patched up. It is supported on a circular pedestal and lies in the western part of the nave arcade.
The church dates to the late 12th century.
