It is a combined memorial with the following inscription:

'TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND TO THE SACRED AND LOVING MEMORY OF THOSE FROM THIS VILLAGE WHO IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918
MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE'
