The simple cross design on a stepped plinth sits in the corner of the churchyard on the raised ground above the village High Street. It is a combined memorial with the following inscription:
'TO THE GLORY OF GOD IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF SILSOE WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918.
IN HEART AND MEMORY ENSHRINED WITH GOD THEY LIVE FOR EVER.'
