This coffin stone is situated on disply in the small porch of the parish church, in Dunsford NE Dartmoor.
I contacted a historian who told me:
The Dunsford parish register lists no burials for 1684, and it's not one of the years for which the bishop's transcript survives. But fortunately it's in the period covered by a separate register of affidavits of burial in wool. Here is the relevant entry:
Thomas son of Thomas Tucker buried 10 Aug 1684. Affidavit signed by Mr. Woolcombe afforesaid [i.e. the vicar of Holcombe Burnell] returned
16 Aug 1684.
