This cenotaph was originally placed by the Woodrow Branch Ladies Auxilary of the Canadian Legion in 1929. It was obviously updated after the Second World War. Located near the centre of the cemetery, it stands as the district's remembrance of the young men lost forever. The base appears to have been refurbished in 1997.
