This is a nice tall wooden bear sculpture located at the exit of the amazing and fairly new Big Rivers area. Big Rivers is located on the boardwalk after the Oklahoma Trails. There is a 25 ft. replica of Turner Falls, and a great place for the bears to play and cool off in the summer months. The bear sculpture and stand are about 6-7 feet tall, and the bear is holding a very large fish in his folded arms. This is one of several beautiful wooden animal sculptures at the zoo.
Admission to the zoo is $8/adults; $5 children 3-11 and Seniors; children 2 and under are admitted free. You are welcome to bring food into the zoo, but glass and straws are not permitted. Smoking is banned at the zoo and in the zoo parking lot. The OKC Zoo is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
