This very large bronze sculpture of 3 gorillas is about 5 feet tall, 15 feet long, and 8 feet wide. There are two very large gorillas with a tiny baby gorilla hiding in the back. One gorilla is on all fours, as if walking. The other adult is sitting behind the first. The zoo has placed numerous sculptures on the premises: some harder to find than others! This is one of two large climbing sculptures at the zoo, and signs warn parents to be very careful in allowing children to climb on them during the summer months since the material can get extremely hot from the sun!
The OKC Zoo is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Admission is $8/adults; $5 children ages 3-11 and Seniors; children 2 and under are free. Parking is free, and same-day re-entry is permitted. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the zoo, but straws and glass are not allowed. Smoking is banned in the zoo and in the zoo parking lot!
