The summit on Ore. Hwy. 36 is located between the communities of Blachly and Low Pass, which is named for the pass. The pass is on the drainage divide between the Lake Creek and Long Tom River. There is a another pass about 4 miles to the NE which is known as High Pass (about 1460 feet).
