The Mason Dixon Trail runs between the Appalachian Trail in S Central PA & the Brandywine Trail in Eastern PA - a distance of approximately 193 miles. The Western Terminus is located at Whiskey Spring, at the point where Whiskey Spring RD crosses the Appalachian Trail, SE of Boiling Springs, PA. From here, the trail runs E to the Susquehanna River, then S along the river to Havre de Grace, MD.From there, the trail leads E to DE, then NE to Chadds Ford, PA at the Brandywine River.

The Mason-Dixon trail passes through Pinchot State Park, Elk Neck State Forest, Iron Hill Park, & White Clay Creek Preserve. Note - this trail follows a number of roads & residential areas, as large portions of the area are developed.
