An expansive playground at the junction of two main regional highways -- SH 6 and SH 94 -- linking some of the main tourist areas of New Zealand. It is always worth a stop here to get the kids to release some pent up energy from a long drive.

This rather large playground features some unique equipment. This includes a roundabout powered by kids arms, a teeter-totter made from wagon wheels, a tire tractor, a basic skateboard park, and the traditional climbing and slide structures. There is also some toddler equipment to play on.
There is a good toilet immediately beside the playground and for moms and dads a good cafe within 50 metres.
