Mendelsohn Lane is a semi-circular road that intersects with Los Gatos-Saratoga Road at two different places. This home is located at the southeastern intersection. The driveway is a pattern of flat gray stones. The car gate swings open in the middle. Each gate section is adorned with two large square wrought iron design pieces. The tip of the gate bars are tipped with Fleur-de-lis points, while the two center bars are tipped with large spikes. The supporting square gate posts are covered with gray, flat rectangular stone work that has a smooth finished surface and capped with pyramids. Two lamps with a green oxide coating hang on the front of each gate post. To the left of the driveway gate is a smaller, pedestrian gate that matches the same design as the driveway gate.
