We noticed this pretty fountain, adorned with chubby birds, at a gas station at the junction of the Inter-American & Pan American Hwys near Cartago, Costa Rica.

The fountain was not running on the day that we viewed it, however there was a water hose and a few tools nearby, so it appears the fountain was being cleaned. It appeared to be in good shape and was clean and well maintained.
