Tree located in the Veterans Memorial PArk, on Highway 311, at the Southdown Plantation. SSG Babin was one of six local hero's who were all killed at same time on 01/06/2005 when the Bradley Fighting Vehicle was struck by a massive bomb placed under the surface of a dirt road.
