Adobe Systems installed 20 wind turbines on the sixth floor deck of its
corporate headquarters in San Jose, California. Each turbine is 30 feet tall and 4 feet wide, and rotates slowly on a vertical axis. The turbines are expected to generate about 50,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year or about 2 percent of the energy consumption at Adobe's three downtown towers.
