The Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad Depot was built in 1909 to serve as both a passenger and freight depot for the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad or as commonly known the Katy. The depot replaced an early temporary depot built in 1901. The depot continued to serve as a passenger depot until 1958 and sporadically after that as a freight depot until 1975. The depot has been renovated and converted to a restaurant being in 1976. During the renovation and conversion the details of the depot were retained both on the interior and exterior.
