On the chapel in the hamlet of Le Melezet, Les Orres, Hautes Alpes Provence, Zarbula painted a sundial in 1853. This location, south of Embrun, is south and west of Zarbula's normal area. The sundial is dated 1853 and signed ZGF. The usual Zarbula style features are evident: two birds, frame, curtain sun, cross, and equatorial line. The dial faces south declining slightly west

This 1853 Zarbula dial on a church was recently restored.
