Silver Hill Presbyterian Church was formed by former slaves after the Civil War. It is a daughter church to the Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church. The church has been renovated, sporting a brick and vinyl siding facade now. As a youngster, I deer hunted the area with my father and can remember the church a wood frame facility. The bell is located at the front entrance of the church in a brick mount with wood and shingle cover.
