This wind harp, titled "To Remember Me" is a memorial to much beloved community leader Ronald J. McElliott . It is shaped like a triangular bipyramid or dipyramid.

The Ron McElliott Memorial Wind Harp is located at the north end of the Chula Vista Marina by the Dockmaster's Office. The harp stands 12 feet high perched atop its powder-coated steel pedestal. The harp is shaped like a triangular bipyramid or dipyramid. Nylon and titanium harp strings are strung in three planes between the edges of the pyramids. An amethyst sphere is situated at the center of the harp.

The wind harp was created by artist Ross Barrable of Pagosa Springs, California.

There are two benches facing the harp, where one can sit and enjoy the view.

The pedestal is surrounded by rocks on the left with words carved into the rocks saying "Love", "Friend", and "Integrity" and rocks on the right saying "Inspire" and "Listener".

waterfront, and provided leadership in laying
the foundation for its ongoing development.

In loving memory, his family prays that the sound
of the winds lift your heart and reach those
memories that touch your soul.


Construction Materials:
The harp stands 12 feet high perched atop its powder-coated steel pedestal. It is constructed of stainless steel, contains an amethyst sphere, and is fitted with nylon and titanium harp strings, which are actuated by the natural sea breezes that are common at the site.
