This mural is one of many at Guadalajara's Hospicio Cabanas and is just inside the entrance of this World Heritage site. Some of the murals are on the walls and others on the ceiling or, like this one, along the inside rotunda's dome.
All the murals were done by Mexican artist, José Clemente Orozco (1881-1949). These murals were painted in 1935 and are considered his best works. In these works, Orozco depicts the history and aspirations of the Mexican peoples. One analyses indicates that his work expresses the artist's attention to the duality of the Mexican people- and was influenced by the dialectic philosophy of Marx and Hegel- although the artist believed himself to be apolitical.
There are no other indications as to whether any of the murals have titles.
