The Willcox Cowboy Hall of Fame was initiated September 10, 1983. Its purpose was to be a celebration of all the ordinary people who made the country great. In the 1930's Willcox had the reputation as the largest range cattle shipping point in the United States. Willcox decided to have a Cowboy Hall of Fame to honor their town and those who helped build it.
Inductees must have lived in the Willcox area for at least 30 years generated a major portion of the their income from the livestock industry. They can be ranch owners or working cowboys.
A portrait of the inductee hangs in the Willcox Cowboy Hall of Fame which is located in the Rex Allen Cowboy Museum in Willcox. Admission to the Hall of Fame is included in admission price to the to the Rex Allen Museum.

Closed: New Years Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas
