This marker is erected in loving memory of the men of Boncombe County who volunteered and served in the War with Spain, the insurrection in the Philippines and the China Relief Expedition, 1898 - 1902

Erected 1930 by The Auxiliary of Thomas W. Patton Camp No. 5, United Spanish War Veterans.
