A small museum near the State Capitol that focuses on the accomplishments of Oklahoma athletes or athletes that played sports in Oklahoma.
There are lots of jerseys, helmets, trophies, and other memorabilia from Oklahoma players and Hall of Famers and hugely successful teams and coaches.
I enjoyed reading the names of all of the Jim Thorpe award winners. Each winner had a large mounted photo, jersey, and helmet as well as a plaque with biographical information.
There is a gift shop with some nice clothing, books, and autographed framed photographs of events and Hall-of-Famers.
There is a very laid-back museum, and I was able to take my time walking through the exhibits and looking at the photos and biographies.
11-21-2019 Received word that the museum has moved to the Bricktown Ballpark. Coords unknown.
