The monument is made of gray marble. It is about six feet long and three feet high, excapt for the Rotary emblem on the end of the memorial, which is about four feet tall. The memorial was donated in 1961.
The memorial is set in close to the center of the town square. It hold a position where one cannot overlook the memorial, but is sort of led to it.
The text on the memorial is as follows:

Protection and Preservation Of Our
Country Since The Beginning of World War II
