Chetco River originates about 23 miles to the ENE in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness The river flows about 55 miles to reach the Pacific Ocean.The upper 44 miles are Wild & Scenic. At the mouth the river forms the harbor for Brookings, Oregon. Coordinates are taken on the south jetty.
