Alvaston, Derby, adiZone - Modern Olympic Venues on Waymarking.com

Adidas, Official Sportswear Partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, launched one of five innovative multi-sport outdoor venues called ‘adiZones’ in Alvaston Derby (site of Derby BMX track).

It was commissioned by Adidas UK to assist in their mission to get more young people into sport and physical activity as part of their sponsorship for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The adiZones design was inspired by the many sports of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The facilities incorporate basketball and climbing as well as an outdoor gym and is free to use.
